Internship in Canada - Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI)
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is an international 12-week research internship programme for full-time undergraduate students in the 3rd and 4th years of their studies. The internship will take place in May-September 2026 at leading universities in Canada.
The programme involves working on a research project under the supervision of a Canadian university professor (according to the student's interests and experience); full funding: flight Ukraine-Canada-Ukraine, housing and food stipend, health insurance; enrolment in a Canadian university for the duration of the internship; support from student mentors on campus; participation in workshops, seminars and professional development events; and a certificate of completion.
Eligibility requirements: conversational English or French (no exam required); academic grade point average of 80% or higher; graduation from a bachelor's degree programme between June 2026 and December 2027; ability to come to Canada for 12 weeks between 1 May and 30 October 2026; ability to return to Ukraine by 31 December 2026.
