WUNU lecturer receives prestigious Alexander von Humboldt Foundation scholarship!
The West Ukrainian National University is proud to announce that Svitlana Mazepa, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of the Faculty of Law, has been awarded one of the most prestigious scholarships in Germany and the European Union — the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship within the Philipp Schwartz Initiative.
Svitlana Mazepa's research project, ‘The Role of Organised Cybercrime in the Context of Cyberwar: Legal, Technological, and Strategic Challenges in Combating Propaganda, Disinformation, and Cyberattacks During the Russian-Ukrainian War,’ was recognised as the best entry.
This is a significant recognition of Ms. Svitlana's scientific work, as the Humboldt Foundation's scholarship recipients include 50 Nobel Prize winners. Being accepted into such a community is a great honour that opens new horizons for scientific research and international cooperation.
