WUNU students took part in an international forum in Poland
Recently, the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business (Olsztyn, Republic of Poland) hosted an International Interdisciplinary Forum of Student Research Groups, an event that brought together young scientists from different countries and universities.
The event became not only a platform for presenting research results, but also a space for lively debate, exchange of ideas and interdisciplinary cooperation. This year, six teams representing scientific clubs in philology, administration, management and physical education took part in the forum.
Three reports in English were presented by students of the West Ukrainian National University under the supervision of Doctor of Economics, Professor Mykhailo Luchko: ‘The Impact of Foreign Financial Aid on Macroeconomic Stability in Ukraine’ (Vladyslav Medvid, student of the D1 ‘Accounting and Taxation’ bachelor's programme), 'The Impact of Martial Law on the Tax System of Ukraine‘ (Natalia Koval, student of the D1 bachelor's programme in Accounting and Taxation), and ’Risk-Oriented Internal Audit Planning in the Compliance System' (Oleh Boberskyi, postgraduate student, specialising in D1 Accounting and Taxation).
Each group offered a distinctive viewpoint on particular research issues, blending theory with practice. The Ukrainian young men and women's presentations made a significant contribution to the event's output, promoting the exchange of international experience and open scientific dialogue. The forum demonstrated the participants' high level of preparation and also became a source of inspiration, mutual support and motivation for further research.
Lively discussions, active audience participation and positive emotions prove that science has the power to change the world.
