Representatives of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Management at the international workshop ‘AI & Beyond’ in Slovenia
From 3 to 5 June 2025, the city of Ljubljana (Republic of Slovenia) hosted the international workshop ‘AI & Beyond: Empowering the Cultural Sector for the Digital Age’, organised as part of the TALKING HEADS project (CREA-CULT-2024-COOP). The event brought together participants from various European countries to discuss the prospects for digital transformation in the cultural sector.
The University was well represented by employees of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Management: Pavlo Bykovyi, Khrystyna Lipianina-Honcharenko and Myroslav Komar. They gave a lecture on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in cultural institutions and held a practical workshop on creating innovative visitor experiences based on generative AI.
The workshop programme included: an introduction to the city and historical sights of Ljubljana; an immersive exhibition entitled ‘In the Embrace of Impressionism’; a round table on digital transformation in culture; a discussion of the ethical challenges of AI in culture; a creative session TALKING HEADS with partners from BLINK and INNOVATO.
The event served as an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, generating new ideas and establishing partnerships in the field of digital technologies, art and culture.
The staff of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Management of WUNU would like to thank the organisers for the invitation and the opportunity to partner with them, and are proud of the international activity of their lecturers.
