Working visit to Nord University (Bude, Kingdom of Norway)
Within the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme, Professor Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi and Associate Professor Iryna Humovska paid a working visit to Nord University (Bude, Kingdom of Norway) — a long-standing partner of West Ukrainian National University in the implementation of joint international projects.
During the visit, representatives of the West Ukrainian National University took part in the presentation of the Municipal Economic Sustainability micro-credential programme, which is implemented at Nord University Business School, and discussed the possibilities of adapting it to the Ukrainian context. This will help strengthen and develop sustainable partnerships between the two universities. In addition, Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi and Iryna Humovska joined a seminar on preparing master's theses, where Ukrainian students participating in the exchange programme presented their initial research ideas in an elevator pitch format. Professor Anatoliy Burmistrov from Nord University gave a lecture on ‘What does it mean to write an A-master thesis?’, in which he focused on the key principles of writing high-quality academic research.
During the meetings, the prospects for submitting joint applications for international grant programmes in 2025–2026 and opportunities for scientific visits to partner universities within the TURBO project were also discussed.
