A mock session of the German parliament was held at WUNU
A mock session of the Bundestag was held at the West Ukrainian National University, organised by students of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations in cooperation with the Department of Family, Youth Policy and Child Protection of the Ternopil City Council.
The meeting was moderated by Lilia Hudziuk, an intern with the CDU/CSU faction in the German parliament. Among the invited guests was Olesia Heryn, an alumna of the institute and now Chair of the Ternopil Youth City Council.
University students, school pupils, young community leaders and representatives of the ‘Nasnaha’ city student parliament took part in the mock session.
Valentyn Pyzhyk, Student Director of the B. H. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, greeted those present and noted: ‘Students and young people are interested in developing practical skills for participating in social and political processes.’
