The course coordinator is Olha Lebedovych, a student of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.
During the first two events, participants had the opportunity to explore key topics: ‘The History of Korea: From Its Origins to the Beginning of the 20th Century’ and ‘The Korean Language in Historical Context and Today: An Introduction to Hangul.’
Attendees learned about Korean history and, thanks to the interactive format, were able to better absorb the material. The historical context was revealed through the unique characteristics of the Korean language.
A special guest at the event was Cho Chih-hoon, a student at Soongsil University who sincerely loves Ukraine. He helped participants to learn the Hangul alphabet and to introduce themselves in Korean.
