From 2 to 12 May 2025, Associate Professors of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT Tetiana Panychok and Iryna Humovska took part in the International Staff Week at the DHBW Cooperative State University (Karlsruhe, Germany). The week's programme was intense and varied, covering key aspects of contemporary developments in higher education, international cooperation and cultural exchange.

A series of practical seminars on the integration and effective application of artificial intelligence in the educational process took place during the week. Specific tools and cases of AI use for optimising learning, research and management were discussed. The knowledge and skills gained are valuable for the further implementation of innovative approaches at WUNU.

Participants had a unique opportunity to learn about cutting-edge technological practices at Daimler's production facilities in Germany. The tour provided an insight into the practical application of modern technologies, automation and logistics in a large industrial company, which may be useful for understanding the needs of the labour market and establishing links with potential employers for our students.

One of the highlights of the programme was a visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the structure and principles of the European Union's legislative body, which contributed to a deeper understanding of European integration and international politics.

The Staff Week programme also included cultural events aimed at introducing participants to the history, traditions and contemporary life of Germany and the city of Karlsruhe. This contributed to a better understanding of intercultural differences and the establishment of personal contacts with representatives of other countries.

Participation in International Staff Week served as an effective platform for establishing new professional connections with representatives of universities and other organisations from around the world. The exchange of experience and discussion of joint projects and initiatives opened up prospects for future international cooperation in the fields of education, science and academic mobility.
