Lecture "Principles of the functioning of the judiciary and the Bar in Poland"
The School of Polish and European Law invites students and lecturers of West Ukrainian National University to attend the lecture "Principles of the functioning of the judiciary and the Bar in Poland", which will be held today, 4 April, at 17:00.
The lecturer is Adam Redzik, a judge of the Supreme Court of Poland, Professor at the University of Warsaw.
During the meeting, we will discuss the judicial system of Poland, controversial issues of judicial reform in Poland, the mechanism for ensuring the principle of proportionality of the need to restrict human rights to ensure public and national security, protection of the rights and interests of others, the mission of the European Court of Human Rights in the current situation, problematic aspects of the activities of the Polish and EU bar associations, the expediency of dividing human rights defenders in Poland into lawyers and legal advisers.
