Certificate of completion of the Ethics and Finance course

 The B.D. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations hosted a ceremony of where students of the Business Communications and Translation programme of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies were awarded certificates. The students successfully completed the course "Ethics and Finance" within the framework of cooperation between West Ukrainian National University and the Centre for Economic Research and Postgraduate Education, accredited in the USA and the Czech Republic.


Addressing the young people, Oksana Desyatnyuk, Rector of WUNU, said: "Education is the most valuable investment in your professional future, so it is crucial to learn from experience, practice and develop. The knowledge gained will help you to fulfil your potential. Believe in yourself and don't stop at what you have achieved!"


For seven weeks, Viktoriia Mazurenko, Sofia Moisievych, Viktoriia Halandiuk, Anastasiia Kit, Michelle Dan, Viktoriia Hnativ, Veronika Andrievska, Diana Varenitsa, Anastasiia Zaiianchkivska, Khrystyna Dovhanych and Ostap Blazheiko attended lectures, discussions, practical classes, and presented their own mini-research in English under the supervision of Dr Laura de Butz (Department of International Business, Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business).


The Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies Liudmyla Krainiak said: "CERGE-EI is a great opportunity to develop skills that will help you interact and communicate confidently in your work and study!"


This course is an important component of the non-formal education of students of the Business Communications and Translation study programme who have mastered business processes in general and ethical aspects in the financial industry in particular.


Together with CERGE-EI, we offer our students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of this important area. We believe that the knowledge and soft skills acquired by our students will help them develop as business communication specialists with an eye towards ethics.
