Representatives of WUNU's Progressive Island: Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Oksana Tulai, Head of the Research Division Vita Semaniuk, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Natalia Karpyshyn, Senior Research Assistant of the International Relations Office Volodymyr Sidiaha and students: Anastasia Kryva, Marta Maiba, and Anna Ivanova took part in the Progressive Educators Summit 2023.

The Progressive Educators Summit is the result of a year-long activity of the NGO Progressive. This year, it brought together 150 in-person attendees - educators, researchers, students, partners, government officials, and more than 170 online participants.

The participants were welcomed by the founder of the NGO "Progressive" Bohdan Ferens and the Director of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova Felix Goett. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova was a partner of the summit.

The participants had the opportunity to discuss topics related to the functioning of higher and vocational education institutions. Particular attention was paid to relocated work, popularization of vocational education, cooperation between higher and vocational education institutions, and accreditation of educational programs.

The unforgettable creative atmosphere of the summit contributed to a constructive discussion of educational reforms and the exchange of achievements. In these challenging times, it is important for all of us to have common views on the development of Ukrainian education and science and not to lose interest in professional activities and youth education.

WUNU Progressive Island is open for cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

We invite the university community of WUNU to join our activities. For more information, please contact the coordinator Oksana Tulai: tel. +380505245073.
