Implementation of the international project "Collaborative international online learning for sustainability, empowerment and resilience of energy networks and digitalisation of education"
West Ukrainian National University is launching the international project "Collaborative Online International Learning for Sustainability, Empowerment and Resilience of Energy Networks and Digitalisation of Education" (COIL-SERENADE), funded by the Erasmus+ programme in the area of Higher Education Capacity Building.
This project promotes sustainability, empowerment and resilience in the fields of energy networks and higher education. Teachers and students have the opportunity to establish innovative collaborations and improve digital and professional skills.
The COIL-SERENADE project focuses on the development and implementation of joint international online training courses that combine improving the quality of education in the energy sector and developing interdisciplinary skills.
Most importantly, the project aims to address the challenges posed by Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Aware of the impact of these challenges on the national education system, the project aims to develop effective strategies that will pave the way for a modern and sustainable education system in Ukraine. By contributing to these challenges, the WUNU team aims to play a key role in creating a more sustainable and forward-looking education system in the country.
The main activities will include training of partners in the development and implementation of online collaborative international learning courses with individual case studies, strategies for the development of the digital education system in Ukraine; creation of an online community for knowledge sharing.
The expected outcomes of the project include improving the teaching system and 21st century skills, as well as using interdisciplinary learning experiences and formulating a strategy for (re)building the modern Ukrainian educational system.
