4th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovations in Education: Realities and Prospects of Development"

 On October 28, the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovations in Education: Realities and Development Prospects" was held, organized by the Department of Education and Pedagogy of the WUNU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.


Co-organizers and participants of the conference included representatives of foreign universities (Yunnan Minzu University, China; Vienna University College of Teacher Education, Austria; University of Hamburg, Germany; Higher School of Management and Administration in Opole, Poland; Marmara University, Turkey) and Ukrainian HEIs from Ternopil, Khmelnytsk, Mukachevo and Uzhgorod.


The first vice-rector of West Ukrainian National University, Mykola Shynkaryk, and deputy dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Lesia Bilovus, addressed the conference participants and highlighted the urgency of the developments in modern education. They also outlined the difficulties and the importance of providing educational services in the realities of martial law. Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration Hanna Zvarych wished the participants of the conference productive work and fruitful discussions on the implementation of innovations in education.


Scientists from Ukrainian universities, young scientists, post-graduate students and master's students from China made presentations on the introduction of innovations into the educational process of educational institutions. During the plenary and sectional meetings, the participants of the international conference discussed possible ways to increase the professional competence of educators, modern trends in educational innovation at various levels (fundamentalization, informatization, digitalization, etc.), noting the need for deep, fundamental changes in the education system to ensure its compliance with difficult modern conditions and needs of the Ukrainian society.


In total, more than a hundred educators, scientists, post-graduate students and masters from various universities of Ukraine and abroad took part in the conference.
