WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Every year, together with the world community, Ukraine celebrates the International Day of Disabled Persons. Many interested people join this international initiative, public forums and discussions are organized to draw attention to the problems of people with disabilities, as well as to remind society of care and mercy.

For the third time, West Ukrainian National University has co-organized a specialized seminar "Global Inclusion: Economic, Social and Medical Determinants". The meeting brought together more than 100 participants from 5 countries, including Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The event was joined by representatives of the School of Economics and Management of Public Administration in Bratislava, Kharkiv National Medical University, National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute", Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.

The goal is to involve the general public in the discussion of current issues of people with disabilities, exchange knowledge of cases and real experience in cooperation in the rehabilitation and support of people with disabilities.

Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs (International Relations), Doctor of Philosophy, Project Co-Organizer Nadiya Dubrovina, Doctor of Philosophy Yeltai Rakhmanov, Vice President of Nasz Dom (Poland) Boguslaw Blicharski (Poland) addressed the audience.

The students discussed current issues of building an inclusive environment for people with disabilities, providing conditions for their adaptation, eliminating social inequality, material and financial support.
