The purpose and tasks of the project:

the main goal of the module is to establish an institutional basis at the West Ukrainian National University (WUNU) for popularizing didactic, research and practical experience of the EU in the field of regional integration.
Areas of activity under the project:

Implementation of a new educational course "European and Global Regional Integration" (REFRAG course) (5 ECTS) in the master's program of the West Ukrainian National University with the aim of developing students' competencies in the field of regional integration using EU experience.

Launch of a set of training courses "European regionalism: practical implementation" (REFRAG training) with the aim of increasing the awareness of local economic and political subjects about the risks and opportunities of the modern regional world with an emphasis on EU issues. The workshops will be accompanied by round tables and a conference to interest the local community in the project.

Setting up an electronic platform (REFRAG-online) for remote teaching of the REFRAG course and intensive REFRAG training. The distance learning program will be developed on the Moodle platform and will provide access to the course and training.
Project implementation results:

The teaching of the course "European and global regional integration" for masters of WUNU has started (46 students are involved).

– Meeting of Jean Monet project coordinators with representatives of the European Commission (04-8-2022);

– International scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists "International economy in conditions of climate change: pandemic and post-pandemic period" (11-04-2022);

– Ceremonial opening of the project (04-18-2022);

– Round table "European studies in conditions of war: the Ukrainian dimension" (25-05-2022).
