EUROWUNU – Jean Monnet Chair in European Integration at WUNU

Duration: 3 years
Overall objective: To create a platform for educational and scientific activities in the field of European integration and to disseminate knowledge about the EU.
Specific tasks
1. Educational component – new courses at all levels (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD):
· Bachelor's: “Fundamentals of European Integration”
· Master's: “The EU Single Market and Ukraine”
· PhD: “European Studies: Diversity and Unity”
2. Professional training – training courses for regional stakeholders and researchers:
· Training for regional stakeholders: “European Public Administration and Civic Participation”
· Training for national researchers: “Modern education and research through a European lens”
3. Dialogue and exchange of experience – annual round tables and final conference.
4. Scientific cooperation – collective monograph and 6 articles in peer-reviewed publications.
Expected results
· Consolidation of European studies in WUNU programs.
· Training of a new generation of students and researchers.
· Improving the competence of administrators and teachers.
· Platform for dialogue between researchers, politicians, and society.
· International scientific publications and a collective monograph.
Contribution to development
The project will contribute to spreading knowledge about the EU, enhancing governance, strengthening scientific capacity, and fostering civil society development. In the context of the war in Ukraine, EUROWUNU also plays an important role in enhancing educational resilience and bringing Ukraine closer to the European community.
