The purpose and tasks of the project:

The goal of the project: to provide a deep understanding of the benefits and challenges of the transition to a resource-efficient and circular economy, in particular, students will gain knowledge about the main principles and visions, as well as theory and tools that form and evaluate resource-efficient and circular measures, by examining real examples, they will be able to synthesize and apply the acquired knowledge.

Tasks of the project:

- to increase the awareness of energy consumers about the European experience of adaptation to climate change based on the digital transformation of energy management and the transition to the use of renewable energy sources;

– to increase the inclusion of women and youth in entrepreneurial activities in the sector of renewable energy and energy services;

- promote the integration of the European experience of gender equality and inclusiveness in the field of energy;

- organization of PR events to popularize among the public the importance of ensuring the implementation of the European experience of adaptation to climate change;

– development and implementation of a "road" map for the implementation of the European strategy for adaptation to climate change in energy management at the regional level for local self-government bodies;

– to strengthen the capacity of development of inter-industry partnership to create regional climate-neutral clusters in the post-COVID-19 era (agricultural enterprises-"green" energy enterprises-enterprises of the "green" transport sector).

 

Results of the project implementation

 - A presentation on the start of the project, its purpose, activities, and expected results was held on December 21, 2022, Presentation of the Jean Monnet project "European Experience of Adaptation to Climate Change: The Concept of Energy Security"

- an incoming sociological survey of households on the level of awareness of the European experience of climate change adaptation was conducted, December 2022.

 - a seminar "Improving the Energy Resilience of Households: Legal Framework, Technologies and Practices of the European Union" was held on March 15, 2023,

- a presentation of the purpose and objectives of the project 101085491 - EEACCCES - ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH "European experience of climate change adaptation: the concept of energy security" was held for participants of the international internship at the Netherlands Business Academy under the Erasmus+ Project Key Action 107, May 29-June 2, 2023, International internship of the WUNU delegation at the Netherlands Business Academy

- trainings for students on the following topics: "Mechanism for the Development of the Energy Service Market in the European Union", "Energy Management", May-June 2023, Workshops within the framework of the Jean Monnet project

- Information and educational brochures "Types of Alternative Energy", "Formation of the Energy Audit and Energy Service Market", "European Union Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change" were prepared, June 2023

- conducted a market research with the use of neuroelectronic equipment to determine the vulnerabilities of households to changes in the energy sector: "Study of the Nature of Objections to the Efficiency of Electric Vehicles", "Study of Mental Readiness of Households to Transition to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources", July 2023, Marketing students of WUNU took part in a neuroscience study as part of the Jean Monnet project
