In December 2023, West Ukrainian National University started implementing the international project KA220-HED - B6120588 ‘Collaborative online international learning to foster sustainability, empowerment & resilience of energy networks and the digitalisation of higher education’ / COIL-SERENADE (Erasmus+ programme, Capacity Building in Higher Education).

The project aims to empower teachers and students by encouraging collaboration and improving digital and 21st century skills.

The project will focus on online collaborative international learning courses to improve the quality of education in the energy sector and promote the development of interdisciplinary skills. The project aims to assess the challenges faced by Ukrainians due to the war and develop strategies to build a modern and sustainable education system in Ukraine.

The main activities will include training partners in the development and implementation of online collaborative international learning courses with individual case studies; creating an online community for knowledge sharing; and developing a strategy for the development of a digital education system in Ukraine.

The expected results of the project include improving the teaching system and 21st century skills, as well as using interdisciplinary learning experiences and developing a strategy for (re)building the modern Ukrainian education system. The project aims to create a lasting impact by facilitating cooperation between partner organisations and sharing best practices in digital education.

 

Project duration: 01.09.2023 - 31.08.2025.
