Ukrainian-Polish Programme

  The Ukrainian-Polish program is an international program that is an integral part of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations of the West Ukrainian National University and cooperates with leading higher educational institutions of the Republic of Poland on the basis of agreements on educational and research cooperation (Wroclaw University of Economics, University of Gdańsk, Poznań University of Economics, Katowice University of Economics, University of Lodz).

 Advantages of studying at UPP:
- semester study at partner Polish universities (free of charge);
- internship of Ukrainian students in Polish institutions (free of charge);
- participation in the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture;
- participation in joint international scientific conferences;
- the possibility of publishing scientific articles in scientific collections published by WUNU and Polish universities with which the Ukrainian-Polish program cooperates;
- participation in joint volunteer projects implemented in the countries of the European Union.
The program is an organizer of international scientific and practical seminars that take place in Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.
During the period of operation of the program, more than 150 students completed semester studies at leading universities of the Republic of Poland.
Every year, students of the program have the opportunity to study at the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture. In the Schools, foreigners are offered interesting lectures on the history and culture of Poland (in Polish and English), practical classes in Polish and English, educational excursions, watching films and plays. Staying in a "linguistic" environment makes it possible to communicate with peers from other countries, hear a "living" language from its immediate speakers, and make contacts abroad.

An undoubted advantage of studying in the program is student exchange (short-term study for one semester in one of the leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Poland), where students can choose English- or Polish-language programs to deepen the knowledge base of economic profile subjects, general and economic courses of the Polish language , listen to lectures, attend practical classes and write a final scientific paper. After graduation, students receive certificates.
