Department of Information and Computing Systems and Control

The staff of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Control of WUNU provides Ukrainian-language training for Bachelor's degree in the specialty F3 "Computer Science" in educational programs "Computer Science" and "Artificial Intelligence", as well as for Master's degree in the specialty F3 "Computer Science" in educational programs “Computer Science” and “Project Management”.

Within the framework of the Ukrainian-American Computer Science Program, the Department provides English-language training for the Bachelor's degree in F3 "Computer Science" and for the Master's degree in 122 "Computer Science" in the educational programs "Computer Science" and "Project Management".

During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following professional disciplines: Analysis and processing of big data; Architecture of the Internet of Things; Databases and data warehouses; High-performance calculations; Data mining; Machine learning; Methods and means of decision support; Methods and systems of artificial intelligence; System modeling; Organization of computer networks; Design of information and software systems; Development of client-server applications; System programming and computer architecture; System analysis; Modern programming paradigms; Software development technology; Project management: concepts and phases; Digital transformation; Numerical methods and programming and others.

After graduating from the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Control, graduates can hold the following positions: IT project manager, IT project and software analyst, computer network administrator (system administrator), WEB-designer and programmer, database administrator, information technology specialist, programmer, senior developer, head of IT services at enterprises, head of IT department, administrator of enterprise IT tools, consultant director of IT, project analyst, etc.

The Department actively cooperates with the following institutions and organizations: YAWARE LLC, MagnetikOne PE, MagnetikOne Municipal Technologies LLC, SystemOne LLC, SaaSJet LLC, 2UXV LLC, SIGMA SOFTWARE LLC, T-SPARK LLC, UNICORN SYSTEMS UA LLC where students of the faculty have the opportunity to complete internships and find employment in their field during academic and industrial training.
