Cooperation of the ERIC with the Saïd Business School of Oxford University
The administration of the Education and Research Institute of Communications of WUNU is establishing cooperation with specialists in the field of negotiation and mediation from around the world to ensure the quality of the educational programme " Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation".
Today, Oksana Koval, Director of ERIC, met with Paul Fisher, a renowned British negotiation expert, Director of the Oxford Programme of Negotiation (OPN), one of the most powerful negotiation programmes in the world, and Professor at the Saïd Business School of Oxford University.
Anastasia Martynevych, coordinator of international activities at ERIC, also joined the conversation.
The meeting focused on important vectors of cooperation, including the development of joint courses on negotiation topics, participation in international conferences, exchange programmes for students and teachers, and other forms of collaboration.
Paul Fisher, who also teaches at OPN and other programmes, has been involved in the development of numerous negotiation simulations. His experience covers various aspects of negotiation: negotiation preparation, decision-making, persuasion, stakeholder management, emotional management, and many others. Paul also teaches negotiation at the William J. Clinton Institute for Leadership at Queen's University in Belfast.
The meeting with Paul Fisher is an important step for the development of the academic and practical areas of communication and negotiation at West Ukrainian National University, as well as an opportunity to enhance the educational process with new approaches and knowledge.
