In September, the Education and Research Institute of Communications of West Ukrainian National University hosted the Fourth International School of Global Educational Practices "New Way". This year, it was organised in cooperation with the Netherlands Business Academy and was dedicated to crisis negotiations. This event became a platform for knowledge exchange and an important step in the development of professional communication.

The final 10 hours of lectures were delivered by an extremely interesting and professional speaker from Switzerland - Steve Alban Tineo, founder and CEO of the unique negotiation, facilitation, leadership and influence company Assertive Group. The participants discussed the art of crisis negotiation and emphasised the urgent need to learn how to communicate effectively in crisis situations. In a difficult time for Ukraine, when pressure, fear and manipulation are rampant, the participants gained invaluable professional insights on how to use their inner strength to fully realise their potential, become an expert in negotiations, and increase their success rate by understanding and managing emotions even in extreme conditions.

At the end of the school, the participants gave good feedback on what they had learned during the course, switching roles and surprising with presentations of their group projects.

Ukraine, the Netherlands, the USA, Switzerland and Poland are the countries of the Fourth School. It was extremely interesting to listen to the subtleties of culture, traditions, and communication behind these names. What are the rules and subtleties of crisis negotiation in each of these countries, the risks, and the implementation of experience? What do we have in common and what makes each country special?

All participants received certificates, and speakers and interpreters received letters of appreciation.

The closing ceremony of the Fourth International School of World Educational Practices "New Way" was quite modest, but extremely meaningful. All those present were overwhelmed by incredible emotions and the true unity of many nations in values, support, understanding and an irresistible desire to develop.

It is gratifying that all these people are united by peacemaking, a sense of a cohesive community for the sake of the victory of truth over injustice, peace over war, words over weapons.

The New Way International School of World Educational Practices is truly a school of kindness, bright emotions, sincere friendship and strong unity.
