Ukraine of the future: Research grants for Ukrainian master's students and researchers within the DAAD project
In order to strengthen cooperation between universities in Ukraine and Germany and provide young Ukrainian scientists with access to the research infrastructure in Germany, the DAAD programme provides highly qualified Ukrainian master's, doctoral and postgraduate students with funding for short-term research internships in Germany.
The aim of the programme is to support universities in Ukraine and provide young scientists with the opportunity to contribute to the restoration of Ukraine and its scientific landscape.
Applications are open to highly qualified Ukrainian postgraduate students, master's students, doctoral students, postdoctoral students (university professors) working/studying in Ukraine.
The programme provides funding for a research stay at a public or state-recognised higher education institution or research institution in Germany that is not a university.
Project proposals in all academic disciplines are eligible for funding.
Funding is provided for a period of one to six months. The period of funding will be determined during the selection process by the selection committee.
Applications should be submitted at least three months before the planned research stay.
Possible funding period: 01.03.2024 - 31.01.2025.
