Global exchange programme for students Global UGRAD!
Do you want to study in the USA, get a prestigious State Department scholarship and establish international communication? Then participation in the Global UGRAD exchange programme for students is a great opportunity for you!
The programme is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US State Department. During the programme, future leaders from all disciplines will spend a semester at US universities to improve their knowledge and skills and explore US culture and values.
During the programme, participants will study for one academic semester at accredited US higher education institutions, engage in volunteer work, professional development and cultural enrichment seminars, and, if desired, travel and meet students from 100+ countries.
The programme is open to students who are currently residing and studying in Ukraine full-time in the 1-2 year of their undergraduate studies; are over 18 years of age on the date of the programme start in the United States; have demonstrated leadership potential through academic work, community involvement and extracurricular activities; are proficient in written and spoken English; have the opportunity to start their studies in the United States in September 2024 or January 2025; and will return to Ukraine after completing the programme and continue their studies for at least 1 academic year at a university in Ukraine.
In order to apply for the programme, you need to provide
a completed application form;
2 letters of recommendation;
a copy of your international passport or ID card,
a confirmation of full-time university studies together with an academic transcript.
