Fryderyk Zoll visited West Ukrainian National University

 The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk met with Fryderyk Zoll, Professor Emeritus of West Ukrainian National University, Professor of Jagiellonian University (Poland) and Osnabrück University (Germany), Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Defense of Democracy (Małopolska Province), former member of the Board of the European Institute of Law (Vienna, Austria).


Dr. Robert Stonberg, who has a private medical practice in Germany and has been helping to collect and organize the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, has also visited our university. Robert is supported by his two sons: Roland and Konrand.


Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Fryderyk Zoll has been actively volunteering and supporting Ukrainians. In cooperation with foundations and organizations from Poland, Germany, Italy, France and other EU countries, he has repeatedly delivered humanitarian supplies, medical equipment, fire trucks, etc. to Ukraine.


Fryderyk Zoll - has been cooperating with West Ukrainian National University since 1999, founded the School of Polish and European Law of WUNU in 2001, is the ideological inspirer of the School, assists in organizing internships at Polish bar associations and studying at the Jagiellonian University for the best graduates of WUNU.


Mr. Zoll said: "To overcome the Russian aggressor we need to unite. This is our common war, only together we can win. We realize how important it is to support Ukraine in all areas. I am convinced that our cooperation will only get stronger in the future!"


Oksana Desyatnyuk said: "We feel and are very grateful for your support. It is extremely valuable to us that you are actively helping both the Ukrainian military and Ukrainian educators. It is gratifying that we have a common vision of Ukraine's future as a highly developed, European country."
