Internships for students and faculty of the Institute of Communications in the Netherlands

 Students of the Education and Research Institute of Communications, who are studying under the double-degree programme "Psychology of Negotiation and Mediation" implemented by West Ukrainian National University in cooperation with the Netherlands Business Academy, made a study trip to the Netherlands.


During March 13-17, students of the group PSPm-11 Tetiana Morzhevska, Yuliia Ivanova, Oksana Muliar, Iryna Kapalkina, Yevheniia Kapalkina, Taras Pavliuk, Yevhen Ismail, and Liudmyla Shevchenko, accompanied by their mentors, the Director of the Institute, Oksana Koval, and the Coordinator of the Institute's International Relations, Anastasiia Martynevych, completed a research internship in the amount of 2 ECTS credits in the programme "Mediation" on the basis of the Netherlands Business Academy (Dordrecht, the Netherlands) within the framework of the Erasmus + Project Key Action 107 2020.


Teachers from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, KROK University, and V. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which are members of the international university consortium of the MEDIATS grant project, joined the training programme.


The high level of teaching by Dutch professors, intensive and very rich curriculum, deep immersion in practical cases and simulations, role-playing games and exercises, DISC and MBTI diagnostic techniques, familiarization with the experience of using court mediation in Breda and the practice of military mediation at the Royal Military Academy, as well as incredible impressions of the country's architecture, sincerity and friendliness of the Dutch made the trip extraordinary.


All participants received certificates of international internship and improved their competence to pass the examination to determine the appropriate rating level in the IRM - the International Register of Mediators.
