Lecture "Case law of the EU Court of Justice in the field of copyright"
The School of Polish and European Law invites students and professors to attend the lecture "The Case Law of the EU Court of Justice in the Field of Copyright", which will be held on March 9 at 17:00.
The lecturer is Sybilla Stanisławska-Kłoc, a doctor of the Jagiellonian University, attorney at law, and mediator.
During the meeting, we will discuss the sources of copyright in the European Union, peculiarities of establishing the authorship of a work and an invention, the practice of the EU Court of Justice on fair use of works (use of works in libraries, citation), the specifics of e-learning, the practice of the EU Court of Justice in the field of plagiarism and self-plagiarism, the relationship between a work and a trademark, commercialization of intellectual property rights, and the problems of copyright protection on the Internet.
