Meeting with specialists of the financial department of Ternopil City Council
In order to improve the quality of professional training of undergraduate students, the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance held a meeting with specialists of the financial management department of the Ternopil City Council.
Vitalina Atenchuk, Deputy Head of the Financial Department, familiarized the youth with the management structure, described the functional responsibilities of employees, and emphasized the peculiarities of their work under martial law. The young people were also interested in information about the implementation of the local budget for 2022, which was extremely difficult for all of us and for the budget sector. Together with the experts, the students analyzed the revenues and expenditures of the city budget and gained practical skills in forming the Open Budget.
Iryna Liuta, Head of the Revenue Planning Department, described in detail the procedure for planning budget revenues and focused on calculating the amount of intergovernmental transfers in modern realities. The youth were interested in the budgeting process and the implementation of the competition-winning projects.
