A WUNU student will compete in the Biathlon World Cup with the women's national team of Ukraine

Oleksandra Merkushyna, a 17-year-old student of West Ukrainian National University, will compete in the Ukrainian women's biathlon team at the World Cup. The competition will be held in Hochfilzen (Austria).
For the athlete, this is the first opportunity to prove herself at the World Cup. Oleksandra is the sister of biathlete Anastasia Merkushyna, who is a regular on the national team.
The composition of the women's national team of Ukraine: Anna Kryvonos, Anastasia Merkushyna, Oleksandra Merkushyna, Daria Blashko, Olena Bilosiuk.
Biathlon fans will be able to enjoy sprints, pursuit races and relays that will last from December 8 to 11, 2022.
