WUNU received the CIMA Excellence Award 2022
West Ukrainian National University once again received the prestigious CIMA Excellence Award 2022 from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants CIMA at the virtual CIMA Excellence Awards ceremony. This year, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Taxation of WUNU Volodymyr Muravskyi was awarded the Research Excellence Award for his significant scientific contribution to the development of digitalization of accounting in the context of cyber protection of accounting information.
The annual CIMA Excellence Awards, sponsored by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the global accounting organization representing CIMA and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), honors institutions and individual educators around the world who are working to develop a new generation of global-class certified management accountants and affects the future of the accounting profession.
This year, more than 650 applications from educational institutions and individuals were submitted for consideration in several categories of the CIMA Teaching Excellence Award, CIMA Research Excellence Award, CIMA Campus Culture Excellence Award and CIMA Employability Excellence Award. In addition, the central awards committee also selected winners for the CIMA Global Excellence Award, CGMA Campus of the Year Award and RTP Global Pass Rate Excellence Award based on CIMA exam results.
