Attention undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students!
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine informs that the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine announces the selection of participants for the online school EU Study Days, which will operate in March-May 2022.
EU Study Days is a project of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, which provides an opportunity for Ukrainian students to learn more about the European Union and EU-Ukraine relations. In addition, the programme promotes the development of a network of Ukrainian youth for communication, exchange of experiences, cooperation and implementation of joint initiatives.
In March-May 2022, 10 modules are planned. Each module will include:
1) Lecture, presentation by diplomats or experts of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, leading European or Ukrainian experts, teachers, practitioners.
2) Open discussions, creative workshops, debates, games and other interactive events on Zoom / Webex platforms;
3) Online test.
The programme consists of:
Introduction. Ukraine-EU relations.
European institutions, law and values.
Economic and trade relations in the EU.
Budget policy;
Ukraine's European integration: components, implementation of the Association Agreement, EU assistance, opportunities from EU programmes.
European Neighbourhood Policy and Eastern Partnership.
EU policy in overcoming information traps. Misinformation, fakes and manipulations - how to detect and refute them; Single digital market. Cybersecurity, digital rights.
European Green Deal.
Migration and border management.
EU communication for its citizens and Ukrainians.
Participation in the EU Study Days in 2022 cis open to master's students, 4th-year bachelor's students and postgraduate students of any form of education aged 18 to 25 years majoring in international relations, international and European law, European studies, international economics and trade, finance, business, political science, law, philosophy, history, sociology, cultural studies, journalism, as well as other economic or technical specialties.
The 20 best students will be invited to participate in summer or winter schools in face-to-face format.
Working languages of EU Study Days are Ukrainian and English. The minimum required level of English language proficiency is B2 / C1.
Only persons who have not participated in EU Study Days in previous years are eligible for the selection.
Competitive selection will include 2 stages:
1) Selection of submitted applications.
2) Online testing on the platform: https://www.eustudydays.in.ua/, a link to which will be sent after the first round of selection.
