In the Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities, West Ukrainian National University placed 6th in terms of openness among 314 Ukrainian higher education institutions according to version 12.0. This rating is formed on the basis of the analysis of citations of works of scholars affiliated with WUNU. This result means that the international community has recognized the scientific prowess of the classical university of Ternopil and the high quality of work that the academic community of the university has been establishing for years.
