WUNU an the top of uniRank international rating
The results of the winter session of UniRank international rating have been published. This ranking is based on webometric data obtained from 5 different sources of web analytics.
UniRank University Ranking (4ICU) is an international non-academic ranking that examines the quality of performance and popularity of the world's universities in the web space. It has been publishing its ranking since 2005, estimating the popularity of more than 11,000 higher education institutions in the world and 186 higher education institutions in Ukraine by the popularity of their web resources. It helps international students, teachers and researchers to find out how popular a higher education institution is in a country.
A special algorithm based on independent webometric indicators collected and processed from reputable web sources is used to determine the position in the ranking. The ranking uses indicators of citations and visits of official web-pages of higher education institutions of the world and takes into account such indicators as indexing by search engines, traffic, number and quality of active links and domain sources, number of unique visitors and page views.
West Ukrainian National University is ranked 7th among 186 Ukrainian higher education institutions. We are proud that the Classical University of Ternopil is among leading Ukrainian universities!
