WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 The Rector of West Ukrainian National University Oksana Desyatnyuk met with Fryderyk Zoll, Professor Emeritus of West Ukrainian National University, Professor of Jagiellonian University (Poland) and Osnabrück University (Germany), Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Defense of Democracy (Małopolska Province), former member of the Board of the European Institute of Law (Vienna, Austria).

 Latvian volunteers visited West Ukrainian National University.

 A working meeting between the Rector of West Ukrainain National University Oksana Desyatnyuk and the Rector of the Netherlands Business Academy Jan van Zwieten was held today at WUNU. The parties discussed the development of new areas of cooperation, outlined new ways to attract students to the Negotiation Psychology and Mediation educational programme, joint events, student mobility, and the exchange of researchers and lecturers.

 Within the framework of the project "Synergy of educational, scientific, managerial and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention"/CLIMAN 619119-EPP-1-2020-1-NL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (Erasmus+ programme), the consortium of which includes West Ukrainian National University, an international summer school "Technological and Economical Aspects of Climate Change Adaptation" will be held on August 13-27, 2023 at Lviv Polytechnic National University.

 A team of students from West Ukrainian National University together with Olha Tsaryk, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Information and Communication Technologies, took part in the international youth forum EYFON (Neumarkt, Austria) for the fifth time. It was held from June 26 to June 30, 2023, and was dedicated to the topic "Peace in Europe and the World, legislation (EU, UN), intercultural training".

 Within the framework of the international project "Providing of Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization" (AFID) 101081850 - AFID-ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of WUNU, Executive Director of the NGO "Public Synergy" Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi visited TÉCNICO LISBOA University (Lisbon, Portugal) on June 19-30, 2023.

 The students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of West Ukrainian National University, who are members of the student scientific society of the Department of Financial Control and Audit of WUNU, took part in the meeting of the student scientific society of the University of Olsztyn and presented their research papers under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Economics, Professor Mykhailo Luchko.

 Recently, teachers and students of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of West Ukrainian National University participated in the BraveTe Business Forum "Prospects for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in Ukraine".

 Oksana Desyatnyuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research of WUNU, held a working meeting with the First Vice-Rector of the University of Presov, Professor Gabriel Pal'a, and Yuri Popovych, Associate Professor of the Greek Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Presov.

 Teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of West Ukrainian National University had the honor of attending a grand celebration - the graduation ceremony for graduates of the Theological Institute of the Catholic University in Ružomberok, Slovakia.
